Announcement: Amanda Blair joins Nü Wave ATL! This is a new venture for her and she has been working so hard to join their team and create an amazing sound on keys and extra vocals. She will still be performing with BlairOutLoud DUO and BAND, but this is an exciting new adventure and we wish her the best!
Hello everyone! We have some exciting news!
Amanda Blair is now joining forces with Atlanta-based: Nü Wave ATL on keys and vocals!
The announcement came down yesterday online, but here at the ‘ol BlairOutLoud HQ, we’ve been hearing her learn and rehearse all of these fun 80s tunes in our studio for almost 2 weeks. She has been putting a huge effort into this, and preparing for their first show THIS SATURDAY, 8/31 at The Well in Cumming, GA at the Cumming City Center Complex.
BlairOutLoud will still have Amanda on keys, flute, and vocals for DUO and BAND events for public and private parties, but she is so excited for this next step, and we fully support her in this new effort!
Amanda is an enthusiastic player of Korg keyboards, specifically the Nautilus model. The 80s nu wave and alternative electronic material that Nü Wave ATL is covering utilizes a lot of programmed sounds and patches. You won’t believe your ears when you hear the sounds coming out of that machine, and just know that Amanda has taken the time to program and learn it all (with some help from patches bought online to be as authentic as possible).
Many bands run extra tracks to fill out the sound of these electronic based songs, and sometimes the audience can not distinguish what is being played in real-time or what has been pre-recorded and playing back during the performance. Many bands utilize both of these methods together, and Nü Wave will be doing a little of the same. But be assured, with Nü Wave ATL, most of the sounds you hear, and the performances that you will see, are being played in real-time, and once again you will feel that in the take that this band has on performing this material live!

How was your weekend?
Amanda and I had two fantastic DUO shows at Center Street Tavern and Los Magueys in West Marietta! We are very thankful for everyone that came out to support us. Both nights we saw a host of people that we haven’t seen in some time.. so it was great to connect with family and friends.. and fans. THANK YOU!
Enjoy this week’s update.. Amanda picked up the guitar and started picking out some Bob Marley.. I forgot that she knew that riff on guitar!

The BlairOutLoud Duo performs at Red Top Brewhouse Saturday January 30th!
Musical selections include 60s - 90s acoustic rock, with a focus on songs especially with female vocals, keyboards, and other instruments including flute!

The Duo is an exciting new addition to the overall musical options that we have to offer for your entertainment needs. February Fun:
My solo acoustic BlairOutLoud show at Tom’s Place in Cartersville was originally on a Thursday, but moved to Friday Feb 12th.. but since my full band LK3 usually performs on a Friday night there, we are excited to announce that we will be making that a full band rock show! Me and guys in LK3 are ready to bring the party to C-ville!
Leonard Koggins Trio returns to rock Cartersville, GA at Tom’s Place February 12th!

The BlairOutLoud solo acoustic rock show makes a debut at a newer brewery in Fairburn, GA on Friday February 26th at Cochran Mill Brewing Company starting at 6pm! Come enjoy great drinks and atmosphere and make requests from the new 2021 BlairOutLoud Songlist!
