TWO WEEKS AWAY!!

Hello friends and fans.. my band Jeremy Would Let Me Drown has an event coming in TWO WEEKS (from today’s post), where we are debuting our show at 37 Main in Buford, GA! 11/29 come see what this band is all about!

The absolute best hits and b-sides from some of the most iconic bands in the early 90’s grunge scene: Pearl Jam (Jeremy), Alice In Chains (Would), and Soundgarden (Let Me Drown), hence the name of the band!

I was asked to join JWLMD in 2023. I came in as the co-lead singer and guitar player. This role is challenging and very rewarding, and I’ve been promoting the band right here on BlairOutLoud, because I feel like those that enjoy what I do will also enjoy this new project.

As we’ve been ramping up in 2024, it looks like 2025 will be a landmark year for the band. Before we get there, we are ending this year with two very special events.. one being our 37 Main show on 11/29, and then we are doing an all “Unplugged” night at Wing Cafe & Tap House on 12/6. 3rd Annual Brewery Symposium at Wing & Tap!

Hello all.. hope you are finding unique ways to stay cool on this ridiculously hot summer that we’ve had here in the ATL.

I’ve got TWO events on ONE particular day (at the same location!) that are going to be fun.. a bit of a challenge for me and the drummer.. but fun nonetheless and we’d love to see you there!

The Wing Cafe & Tap House in Marietta, GA is holding its 3rd Annual Brewery Symposium, as they’ve titled it. They are excited to host 4 specific Breweries in the area that have products that they will be debuting and discussing.

This event is on Saturday afternoon, August 17th, starting at 2pm. They will have a Q&A session with the brewers on stage (outside in the alley way of Wing & Tap), and then there will be music starting at 4pm…. featuring BlairOutLoud TRIO!

$1 per pint will go to benefit FIRST RESPONDERS via the Terry Farrell Firefighter’s Fund

Now here’s where it gets interesting..

Jeremy Would Let Me Drown was already scheduled to play at Wing & Tap that evening 8-11 inside on the stage.

So.. Jeff Wheeler, the drummer for JWLMD, is playing drums in the BlairOutLoud TRIO sets (with Gary Stone on bass) outside 4-7 for the Brewery Symposium event. And then… Jeff and I will be moving our equipment inside to then perform a couple of JWLMD sets inside later that evening.

Basically.. if you come to this event.. you’re getting a TWO for ONE.. however both shows are FREE.. sooo, you are actually getting TWO great band events for free.. or the price of food and some brews! 🍻 Pretty great right?

BlairOutLoud TRIO will play a killer mix of classic rock, 80s hits, and 90s alternative that we think you’ll dig. And then later that evening, Jeremy Would Let Me Drown is bringing you the best of Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and Soundgarden to the stage!

It’s going to be a great day/night. We would love to see you there.

Regarding: Jeremy Would Let Me Drown

Hello to all!

Jeremy Would Let Me Drown had a killer show last Friday (10/20/23) at The Wing Cafe & Tap House in Marietta, GA. For those of you that are wondering what this band is, I was asked to join the group over the summer, and I’ve worked tirelessly to hop onboard and deliver some great shows so far. This band is a “grunge tribute” they call it. Basically, the goal is to specifically perform the music of Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and Soundgarden.

The “Jeremy” guys have been around on the scene for the last few years, and I’m the new guy in the bunch. So far, the response has been great.. and last Friday we had a fantastic show. I captured some video footage from the event, and I created a montage of clips that highlight the energy of the show. Check it out below and let me know what you think!
